Vice President Maruf Amin Bertolak To Cianjur Attend The Istigasah Of The National Prayer Of Safety
JAKARTA - Vice President Maruf Amin left for Cianjur Regency, West Java, Sunday, to attend the Muhasabah and Istigasah National Safety Prayers in the momentum of the commemoration of the Isra Mikraj Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Reporting from Antara, the Vice President and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Air Force Air Base using the Super Puma Presidential VVIP Helicopter, at 07.00 WIB, to the Yonif Raider 300 Field Helipad, Karangtengah District, Cianjur Regency, West Java.
Flights to Cianjur are estimated to take approximately 33 minutes. The Vice President will be welcomed by Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, Pangdam III/Siliwangi Major General Kunto Arief Wibowo, and West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Suntana.
Furthermore, by driving a car, the Vice President and his entourage went straight to the Cianjur Regent's Hall, Siliwangi Street, Pamoyanan, Cianjur Regency, West Java.
At that location, the Vice President will be greeted by the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman, and the Head of the MUI for Da'wah and Ukhuwah Cholil Nafis, to then walk to the Cianjur Grand Mosque, where the Muhasabah and Istigasah National Safety Prayers are held.
The vice president is scheduled to return to Jakarta on the same day, at around 09.35 WIB after the event.
The Muhasabah and Istigasah National Prayers of Safety were held in collaboration between the Army and MUI for Da'wah and Ukhuwah.
Previously, Kasad and the Chairperson of the MUI for Da'wah and Ukhuwah had held an audience with the Vice President on Thursday (16/2). During the meeting, the two specifically invited the Vice President to give a tausiah at this event.
The vice president expressed his willingness and hoped that this event could motivate ulama and the community, especially in the Cianjur area.
He advised the public to continue their daily activities with enthusiasm and optimism after the earthquake that occurred in Cianjur.
Present to accompany the Vice President on this visit were the Head of the Vice Presidential Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, the Vice President's Special Staff for Communication and Information Masduki Baidlowi, the Vice President's Special Staff for Politics and Institutional Relations Robikin Emhas, and the Vice President's Expert Team Farhat Brachma.
