There Will Be A Feeder Train For Fast Trains, Padalarang-Bandung Tempuh Time 20 Minutes
JAKARTA - Special Staff (Staffsus) of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Arya Sinulingga said the frequency of trips for feeder trains or Padalarang-Bandung feeder trains is planned 72 times per day.
This feeder train serves to connect passengers of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) who disembark in Padadalarang to Bandung City or vice versa.
"There will be 5 trainsets of Padalarang-Bandung feeder trains, a distance of 14.6 km. The travel frequency is 72 trains per day," he told reporters at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Friday, February 17.
Arya said, this series of feeder trains or feeder trains will arrive at the Padalarang KCJB station once every 15 minutes.
Furthermore, Arya said that the travel time for the fedeer train to the Bandung City station only took about 20 minutes.
"20 minutes, enough. Jakarta-Padalarang 40 minutes, Padalarang-Bandung 20 minutes. One hour's distance (from Jakarta to Bandung)," he explained.
The effectiveness of Tempuh Time is a highlight of the DPR
Previously reported, member of Commission V DPR Iis Rosyita Dewi expressed her concern about the effectiveness of the high-speed train which did not reach the center of Bandung but to Padalarang.
Iis said, from Padalarang, passengers who want to continue their journey to the city of Bandung can use feeder trains or feeder trains.
For this reason, Iis asked the relevant government to ensure the effectiveness of the overall travel time up to Bandung Kota Station.
What kind of effectiveness should this be seen? The travel time, will the fast train be good then the waiting time for this feeder train is long, or what," said Iis.
Iis also asked the central and regional governments to really pay attention and establish the mechanism clearly.
"Don't let people who have spent more expensive rates than regular trains feel there is no difference," he said.
Furthermore, Iis also reminded that KAI really detailed the suitability of the fast train schedule with the feeder train so that later transiting passengers can immediately continue their journey to the Bandung City station.
"In my opinion, the barometer is what is needed by the community, whether it needs to be fast or needs to be cheap, right," he said.
