Hanura Party Rests With Wiranto Moving To PAN
JAKARTA - Hanura Party politician Inas Nasrullah Zubir confirmed the news circulating that former Chairman of the Hanura Party DPP Wiranto moved to PAN.
"Yes (news of Wiranto moving to PAN) from those closest to him who said so," said Inas in Jakarta, Thursday, February 16, quoted by Antara.
He said Wiranto as the founder of the Hanura Party did not need to communicate the decision in question to change parties. Moreover, Inas said that so far Wiranto's whereabouts in Hanura are not active in the management.
"So far, Mr. Wiranto is not pleased to be an administrator of the Hanura Party because of his busy schedule as Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres)," he said.
Inas assessed that Wiranto's move to PAN would affect the electability of the Hanura Party. He gave an example when Wiranto was not actively involved in party activities, Hanura's electability declined.
"My analysis does have an effect on Pak Wiranto's inactivity in Hanura with party electability. So Pak Wiranto's move will affect the party," he said.
Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the PAN DPP Viva Yoga Mauladi said that a former chairman of a political party that had existed in parliament would join his party.
