Arrested By Ciputat Residents, Motorcurrors Dismantled By Their Clothing Until They Are Not Aware
TANGERANG - A motorcycle thief with the initials TB (42) was beaten by a mob on Jalan Sukamulya, Serua Indah, Ciputat, South Tangerang. Residents stripped the perpetrator's clothes and continued to beat him helplessly. The chaos was vented because residents often lost their motorbikes.
Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Galih confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Monday, February 13, at 07.00 WIB.
"Successfully securing a man. The perpetrator was taken to the security post," said Galih in his statement, Tuesday, February 14.
The incident began when the witness saw the perpetrator taking a motorbike parked on the terrace of the house. Suddenly, the witness screamed until finally the perpetrator fled.
So that residents left their homes and joined in after the perpetrator who fled. While chasing the perpetrator who fled, another perpetrator was seen calling with a signal of hand to someone. Then there was a man sitting on a motorbike beside the house suspected of being a gang of perpetrators who had fled," he continued.
Residents managed to arrest one of the perpetrators and hand it over to the police.
"Taken to the East Ciputat Police for further investigation," he concluded.
