Asked About Ferdy Sambo's Verdict, Brigadier J's Father: Don't Feel Fast Or Not Yes, If We Talk Fast, It Means "Ada Dendam"

JAKARTA - Yosua Hutabarat's father alias Brigadier J, Samuel Hutabarat, is reluctant to talk about satisfaction with the death sentence against Ferdy Sambo and 20 years in prison for Putri Candrawati.

According to him, when it comes to satisfaction behind the verdict, it will lead to revenge.

"Don't be satisfied or not. If we talk about being satisfied, it means that there is an element of revenge," Samuel said at the South Jakarta District Court Tuesday, February 14.

However, for him, the sanctions for Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi are in accordance with the articles charged, namely Article 340 of the Criminal Code. In this regulation, the maximum penalty is the death penalty.

"Yes, it is stated in Article 340. The first is the death penalty, the second is life and the second is a maximum of 20 years. That is applied from Article 340," said Samuel.

Samuel was present with Rosty Simanjuntak at the South Jakarta District Court. Brigadier J's parents wanted to witness the trial of reading the verdicts of the defendants Ricky Rizal Wibowo alias Bripka RR and Strong Ma'ruf.

In the series of killings of Brigadier J, Strong Ma'ruf and Ricky Rizal were said to have participated.

Ricky Rizal is considered to have played a role in supervising the whereabouts of Brigadier J before being executed. The goal is not to run away.

Meanwhile, Strong Ma'ruf played a role in closing the door of the balcony. This action is considered to reduce the sound of gunfire so as not to be heard by local residents.

Both were sentenced to 8 years in prison in the murder case of Brigadier J. This is because the actions of both are considered to meet the elements of Article 340 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
