Jambi City Government Promise Every Saturday Down Mountfalls Citizens' Administration In The Eradication Area
JAMBI - The Jambi City Government (Pemkot) picked up the ball in its citizen population administration services in six urban villages. This step is to accelerate data collection ahead of the 2024 General Election.
Head of the Jambi City Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil), Nirwan, said that the management of population administration changes began a week ago.
"In addition to us, there are also many residents who come to their respective urban villages but many also come directly to Dukcapil services for population administration changes," he said in Jambi, Monday, February 13, as reported by Antara.
The acceleration of data collection was carried out by the Jambi City Disdukcapil to pick up the ball to visit residents in the new village.
One week, the team collected data in the expansion area to provide services for changes in population administration.
"Every Saturday we go directly to the location for data collection services," he said.
He explained that on weekends the team was able to complete data changes in one neighborhood unit in one village.
Meanwhile, during weekdays in a day there are at least 50 residents who take care of changing family cards at the Dukcapil office.
The six new urban villages are Bakung Jaya Village, Pinang Merah Village, Simpang Rimbo Village, Kenali Asam Village, Talang Gulo Village, and Aur Kenali Village.
Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor of Jambi Maulana said that the process of expanding and collecting data on residents with this mutation should not interfere with the stages of the election.
He asked the Jambi City Disdukcapil to quickly collect data and prepare blank e-KTP for residents who are experiencing the expansion process.
With a digital data collection process, Maulana believes the data collection process will be completed quickly.
