Bring 20 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine, Two TNI AD Personnel Become Suspects, Detained At Pomdam XII/TPR
JAKARTA - Two members of the TNI with the initials T (37) and AM (33) were arrested by the West Kalimantan Police for being involved in a narcotics crime on Jalan Panglima Aim, Tanjung Hulu Village, East Pontianak District, West Kalimantan last Sunday, February 5.
From the two perpetrators, two black bags containing 20 plastic tea Guanyinwang Refined Chinese Tea green containing 20 kilograms of methamphetamine were confiscated. In addition, the police also confiscated an Avanza car, 4 cellphones and Rp13 million in cash belonging to T and Rp18 million belonging to AM.
T is a member of the TNI with the rank of Serma, while AM is in the rank of Sergeant. The arrests began with the results of the investigation by the Narcotics Unit of the Sekadau Police and West Kalimantan Customs under the opinion of PS Kasubdit 1 Ditresnarkoba Polda West Kalimantan.
T and AM were arrested while using a Silver Toyota Avanza with the number KB 1347 TL on the side of Jalan Panglima Aim, Tanjung Hulu Village, East Pontianak District, Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province.
When searched, the team found and secured two black bags in the rear cabin of the car, which contained 20 green Chinese tea plastics.
After completing the search, the team took the suspect and the evidence that had been secured to the West Kalimantan Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate. Furthermore, T and AM along with the evidence were handed over to the Military Police (TNI).
Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad), Brigadier General Hamim Tohari confirmed the incident.
"The two individuals have been named as suspects," he told VOI, Friday, February 10.
Brigadier General Hamim Thohari explained that currently both of them have also been detained.
"He has been detained at Pomdam XII/Tpr for further investigation, before being transferred to the Military Oditurat for further judicial proceedings," he said.
