During 2022, Bank DKI Salurkan Credit Up To IDR 48 Trillion
JAKARTA - BUMD Bank DKI recorded credit disbursement throughout 2022 to IDR 48.37 trillion as of last December. Bank DKI President Director Fidri Arnaldy said the credit disbursed increased 23.53 percent from the previous year, which was IDR 39.16 trillion.
"The increase in Bank DKI credit disbursement is driven by the growth of all aggressive credit segments year-on-year," Fidri said in his statement, Thursday, February 9.
In detail, the regional development bank (BPD) owned by the DKI Provincial Government noted that micro-credit distribution increased 54.22 percent to IDR 2.56 trillion in 2022 from IDR 1.66 trillion in 2021.
Then, the retail credit segment increased 40.30 percent to IDR 1.29 trillion in 2022 from IDR 922.44 billion in the previous year period.
Meanwhile, the consumer loan segment grew 13.61 percent to IDR 19.81 trillion in December 2022 from IDR 17.43 trillion in December 2021. Cindication loans grew significantly from 70.29 percent from IDR 3.71 trillion to IDR 6.31 trillion in December 2022.
Then, commercial redit grew 15.40 percent to IDR 16.51 trillion in 2022 from IDR 14.30 trillion in the previous year. Meanwhile, medium credit grew 67.28 percent from IDR 1.13 trillion to IDR 1.89 trillion in December 2022.
Furthermore, Fidri said Bank DKI also recorded a net profit of IDR 939 billion in December 2022. According to him, this profit is Bank DKI's highest achievement since the company was founded.
"This match, which is the company's highest achievement since its establishment, grew 29.11 percent compared to the December 2021 period of IDR 727.36 billion," said Fidri.
Fidri explained that Bank DKI's increase in net profit was achieved through an increase in interest income to IDR 4.53 trillion in December 2022. This figure rose 16.64 percent (YoY) from IDR 3.88 trillion in the previous year period.
In addition, the increase in transactions on digital platforms also played a role in boosting fee-based income growth by 27.71 percent to IDR 576.01 billion in December 2022, from IDR 451.03 billion in December 2021.
"Good control of interest expense affected an increase in net interest income by 8.92 percent to IDR 2.93 trillion in December 2022, from IDR 2.69 trillion in December 2021," he said.
Then, Bank DKI recorded an increase in the company's total assets by 11.51 percent to IDR 78.88 trillion in December 2022 from IDR 70.74 trillion in the same period the previous year.
