The Getaci Toll Road Is Re-auctioned From April, Construction Will Moror

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will re-tend the business of the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap (Getaci) Toll Road starting next April.

This was done because there had been a default contract that had been previously determined.

"We are still asking the Minister for directions regarding the Getaci Toll Road (tender), hopefully, it will take about two months (April) to re-auction," said Director General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Hedy Rahadian to reporters, Wednesday, February 8.

Hedy said that the auction for the construction of the toll road would no longer be an initiative, but rather a solicited project. "So, we auctioned it with solicited. It is likely that it will be made gradual, so the first stage we propose is Gedebage to Tasikmalaya," he said.

Furthermore, said Hedy, the construction work will experience setbacks and cannot be carried out starting this year. "Constructions are likely early next year for stage 1," he said.

For your information, the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap Toll Road along 206.65 km passes through two provinces, namely West Java Province along 171.4 km and Central Java Province along 35.25 km.

For stage 1, it consists of Section 1 JC Gedebage-SS Garut Utara, and Section 2 SS Garut Utara-SS Tasikmalaya. Then, stage 2, consists of Section 3 SS Tasikmalaya-SS Patimuan, and Section 4 SS Patimuan-SS Cilacap.
