Fire The Transportation Ship For The KB Program, BKKBN Fireball In The Palangkaraya River Region
CENTRAL KALIMANTAN - The National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) provides special ships to transport acceptors or people who take part in the KB program in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan).Deputy for Advocacy, Mobilization, and Information of BKKBN Sukaryo Teguh Santoso said the ship was alerted to pick up the ball as an effort to accelerate KB suppress stunting
The existence of this acceptor delivery ship is a very good breakthrough. KB services will reach all levels of society, especially for people who live on riverbanks," he said in a statement, Monday, February 6, quoted by Antara.
Teguh said the provision of ships was focused on transporting KB acceptors domiciled on the riverbank in Palangkaraya City to remote areas.
Through the Indonesian Nutrition Status Study Survey (SSGI) in 2022, Teguh said the stunting rate in Central Kalimantan had decreased from 27.4 percent in 2021 to 26.9 percent in 2022.
However, if the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Central Kalimantan wants to achieve the target of 15.38 percent by 2024, the Stunting Handling Task Force must work harder, invite families to plan a healthy pregnancy and intensively educate the importance of family planning for mothers.
With the cooperation between the Central Kalimantan BKKBN and the Population Control and Family Planning Service, with the Empowerment of Women and Child Protection and Community Empowerment (P2KBP3APM Service), he continued, stunting prevention is running well.
Teguh is optimistic that the new innovation will not only accelerate the reduction in stunting rates, but also succeed in the Family Planning (KB) program.
"Please remember the distance between pregnancy and the number of births that are too large in one family, so babies who are born are at high risk of stunting or chronic malnutrition," he said.
Head of Central Kalimantan BKKBN Representative Dadi Riswandi added that the ship will also serve people living in remote hinters and areas far from the KB service center.
"The existence of this acceptor delivery ship will certainly have a big impact on the people in Central Kalimantan, Palangka Raya City. Especially for people in remote and remote areas who live along rivers," said Dadi.
He stated that the BKKBN would not give up on reaching the KB acceptor, even though they were on the special or remote route. The provision of the acceptor transport ship itself comes from the 2022 Special Allocation Fund (DAK).
