Update On COVID-19 As Of February 4,: 186 Additional New Cases From 22,854 Speciments Checked
The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. Of the 22,845 specimens examined, the results resulted in the addition of 186 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,730,964 people and active cases have fallen by 88 to 4,216 cases," the COVID-19 Task Force was quoted as saying on Saturday, February 4.
Today's recovered cases increased by 233 people, bringing the total to 6.565.917 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 5 cases and a total of 160.831 people.
The province with the most new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 61 cases and the accumulation reached 1,539,862 cases. Followed by West Java with 44 cases and a total of 1,235,139 cases.
Next, East Java with the addition of 19 new cases with a total of 637,668 cases. Banten 12 new cases and a total of 365,977 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 81 recovered cases.
Followed by Central Java with an additional 38 recovered cases, Banten 32 recovered cases, West Java 31 recovered cases, and East Java 19 recovered cases.
The number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 114,882,083.
"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 2.0 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 1,053 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 204,262,851 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 175,124,720 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 69,571,463 and the fourth dose was 1,541,196. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
