Good News From Bangka Belitung, Only 6 COVID-19 Patients Are Still Undergoing Quarantine

JAKARTA - The Bangka Belitung Islands (Babel) COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that there are only six active COVID-19 patients who are still undergoing quarantine until Friday, February 3, only six people.

"Today, the number of recovered patients has increased by two. Meanwhile, the cases of people exposed to the Corona Virus and died were nil," said Secretary of the Babel COVID-19 Handling Task Force Mikron Antariksa in Pangkalpinang as reported by Antara.

As many as six active COVID-19 patients who are still undergoing quarantine are spread across South Bangka (3), Pangkalpinang City, Bangka, Central Bangka, one patient each, meanwhile West Bangka, Belitung and East Belitung without COVID-19 patients.

"We are optimistic that Bangka Belitung can become a COVID-19 green zone because of public awareness to continue to carry out health protocols that are still good," he continued.

In preventing transmission and spread, the COVID-19 Task Force together with local governments (Pemda) continues to socialize prokes to the public so that they remain vigilant while still taking independent precautions.

"We continue to improve services to COVID-19 patients in order to boost the recovery rate to realize the COVID-19 green zone Babel," said the Space Micron.

Acting Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands Ridwan Djamaluddin said that even though the PPKM had been revoked, the public was asked to continue to carry out health protocols (prokes).

"Keep maintaining the prokes, because whatever it is, it has become part of people's daily lives to always be aware of this Corona Virus. Do not let there be another spike in high cases, because it does not implement this process," he said.
