The group of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) suddenly drove from their destination to Danu Kerthi Dam, Buleleng Regency, Balim on Thursday, February 2.

A working visit was turned to the Danu Kerthi Dam, but on the way, Jokowi suddenly asked the Assistant Adjutant to President Captain Inf. Mat Sony Misturi for his entourage to stop at the Taman Bung Karno RTH.

At the location of the President's entourage, Jokowi saw inscriptions about life history, statues, and Bung Karno's works in the form of writings created on June 6, 1957.

When listening to Bung Karno's legacy, Jokowi was also accompanied by the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster.

The group finally continued their journey by taking the time to take pictures with local residents and distributing a number of books and T-shirts.

Based on data from the Bung Karno Regency Regional Research, Development and Innovation Agency, quoted from Antara, Bung Karno Park has an area of 2.2 hectares.

The concept of Bung Karno Park, apart from being a recreation area, also serves as a plant-based historical and ecological park.

The attraction of the park that carried the name of the Bung Karno national figure was a wall with reliefs and diorama regarding the first President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno.
