Nintendo And Sony Reportedly Absen At The 2023 E3 Game Exhibition

JAKARTA - It is reported that Nintendo and PlayStation will not be present at the biggest game industry exhibition, E3, which will attend this year.

According to ReedPop organizers, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2023 will officially take place from Tuesday, June 13 to Friday, June 16, 2023.

However, VGC and IGN sources familiar with Nintendo's plans said the company decided to miss E3's first physical event in four years.

Nintendo's absence at E3 in 2023 must have caused disappointment in the hearts of his fans. Because, the last time Nintendo was present at the physical event E3 was in 2019.

Meanwhile, Sony Interactive Entertainment's absence this year doesn't seem too surprising, as they also missed the E3 event in 2019, and announced that they also don't plan to attend 2020 events, before being canceled due to the pandemic.

On the other hand, its competitor Microsoft has decided to be present in Los Angeles this year with a summer exhibition. However, IGN reported that Xbox would not be there.

However, a VGC source claims that the company is in discussions with Microsoft. Because after all, Xbox revealed in the recent Developer_Direct recap that it will be holding its own show in Los Angeles at almost the same time as E3 2023.

Although not present in E3, we will probably see Sony and Nintendo hold their own online shows for their new titles at a later time.
