Heru Budi Setor Tiga Nama Candidates For The DKI Regional Secretary, Who Was Voted Jokowi?

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono has sent three names of candidates for the DKI Regional Secretary based on the results of an open selection of middle high leadership positions carried out by the selection committee.

These three names were sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to be forwarded to President Joko Widodo. Jokowi will choose one of the three ASN officials who passed the final stage of the selection.

"He has gone to the Ministry of Home Affairs, asked the staff (Regional Civil Service Agency)," Heru said when met in North Jakarta, Tuesday, January 31.

It is targeted that the DKI Regional Secretary will be elected on February 2 and inaugurated by Heru. However, Heru admitted that he did not know when Jokowi's choice would be decided.

"I don't know yet," he said.

In the Announcement Number 4 of 2023 which was signed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Suhajar Diantoro, as the chairman of the open selection committee for the DKI Regional Secretary, three names were mentioned who passed the auction for the position.

The three names are Joko Agus Setyono who is currently the Head of the Bali Province Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), Dhany Sukma who is currently the Mayor of Central Jakarta, and Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata who is currently the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency.

The three names have passed the administrative selection stages, field competency tests, managerial and sociocultural tests, to interviews with the selection committee.

In the final stages of the selection, three other names were eliminated, namely the Head of the DKI Inspectorate, Syaifullah Hidayat, the Chief Executive of the DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji, and the Head of the DKI Jakarta Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra.

Based on Article 114 Paragraph 5 of Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN), it is stated that the President chooses one of the three names of candidates to be appointed as middle high leadership officials.
