Therefore, it can be seen from the attitude conveyed by PSSI and PT LIB," said the Menpora after a meeting at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Senayan on Monday, January 30 afternoon WIB.

The news conveyed by the Minister of Youth and Sports regarding the League 2 competition which is still failing to continue is the result of meeting with representatives of 15 clubs, the Indonesian Professional Football Association (APPI) with PSSI and PT LIB as the operator of the competition implementation.

"Some time ago they (the representatives of the club and APPI) had come here and as I informed them, I also reported the results of the previous meeting to the President and asked to find a way out," said the Menpora.

"I invited again for meetings and discussions with PSSI and PT LIB. Then various things were conveyed and it was decided to immediately meet Liga 2 club. Then based on the results of the Executive Committee (Exco) meeting, there were a number of considerations that made this competition stopped, one of which was about several clubs asking for the match to stop.

However, the majority of League 2 clubs expressed their desire for this second caste competition to resume. This hope was also expressed by Persipura's representative, Yan Mendes, which was also conveyed by the Menpora.

"Earlier, Mr. Yan (Persipura) and his friends expressed their high hopes to the government, because the government will definitely be able to communicate with anyone who is the administrator," he said.
