Curi 12 Hanphone, Daily Labor Release In Tangerang Arrested By Police
TANGERANG - Kronjo Police, Tangerang Police, Banten Police arrested a man with the initials SH (49), a resident of Pagenjahan Village, Kronjo District, Tangerang Regency who works as a casual daily laborer. SH was arrested for allegedly stealing 12 cellphones belonging to Sukmadi (38).
Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Sigit Dany Setiyono said the criminal incident occurred on Monday, January, at around 04.00 WIB at the victim's shop in Pecinan Village, Gandaria Village, Mekar Baru District, Tangerang Regency.
"It is true that the Kronjo Police of the Tangerang Police managed to secure a man who stole a cellphone," said Dany, Friday, January 27.
"The suspect stole a cellphone by entering the victim's shop using a fake key to unlock the rolling door lock, then the suspect took 12 cell phones or cellphones that were in the storefront. After that, the suspect had sold the stolen cellphone as many as four units to other people and started with the testimony of witnesses, then members of the Kronjo Polresta Tangerang identified the suspect," said Sigit.
Then armed with the testimony of witnesses, then a member of the Kronjo Police arrested the suspect SH at his house and confiscated evidence in the form of a cellphone.
"To the officers, the suspect SH admitted that he had committed the theft of the cellphone," said Sigit.
The loss of the item caused the victim to suffer a loss of up to Rp. 10 million and the victim reported the incident to the Kronjo Police, Tangerang Police.
"The victim suffered a loss and reported the incident to the Kronjo Police," explained Dany.
"The suspect was finally taken to the Kronjo Police, Tangerang Police for further investigation and for his actions the suspect was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 7 years in prison," concluded Dany.
