Peugeots Will Care For Five Electric Cars By 2025
JAKARTA - During the E-LION PEUGEOT DAY, the French car manufacturer revealed several new plans for future electric vehicle models.
First, the car brand, which is a subsidiary of the Stellantis company, announced that it will release five new electric cars in the next two years.
The five models are: E-308, E-308 SW (Europe's first electricstate), E-408, E-3008 and E-5008. The electric 308 and 308 SW will be powered by new electric engines, which generate 115 kW (156 bhp) of power and with a range of more than 400 km (WLTP cycle), with an average energy consumption of 12.7 kWh.
In addition, the company also announced PEUGEOT E-LION PROJECT, an approach to electrification intended to meet the needs of the next generation of PEUGEOT.

In addition, PEUGEOT also introduced a new hybrid technology with MHEV 48v which will be launched this year with models 208, 2008, 308, 3008, 5008, and 408.
The PEUGEOT 48V system consists of a new generation of PureTech 100hp or 136hp gasoline engine, coupled with a double-coupling gearbox, which combines electric motors (21 kW).
Thanks to the battery that recharges while driving, this technology offers an increase in low-end torque and a 15% reduction in fuel consumption.
