Threebing Thieves Who Made Lebak Residents' Vulnerables Successfully Screened
The ranks of the Satreskrim of the Lebak Police, the Banten Police, together with the Cirinten Police, arrested 3 groups of goat thieves and succeeded in uncovering the case of the theft of livestock in Kelepu Village, Cirinten Village, Cirinten District, Lebak Regency.
Kapolres Lebak Polda Banten AKBP Wiwin Setiawan melalui Kasat Reskrim Polres Lebak Iptu Andi Kurniady Eka Setyabudi mengatakan pelaku berjumlah 4 orang dan yang sudah tertangkap 3 orang. Sedangkan 1 pelaku lainnya masih dalam pencarian.
"Three perpetrators JD (34), JA (35), KH (37) were arrested and one perpetrator is still being chased and entered the People's Wanted List (DPO) for stealing goat," Andi said, Friday, January 27, in a written statement.
From the hands of the perpetrators, the officers managed to secure a number of evidences that have now been secured at the Cirenten Police.
"The evidence that was secured was 1 Toyota VIOS car, black, with Nopol A 1202 YS, 7 Kambing tail and 1 small blue rope mining," explained Andi.
This disclosure began with reports from the public who were worried about the theft of livestock, especially in the Cirinten area.
"Based on this information, the Lebak Police Satreskrim Opsnal unit together with the Cirinten Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an investigation and succeeded in securing the perpetrators and the evidence," explained Andi.
"From his confession, the perpetrators have committed theft with weight in the form of goat animals 3 times in the jurisdiction of the Cirinten Police, Lebak Police," he added.
The perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 7 years in prison.
