Deputy Mayor Of Imam, The Fifth Claim Of Depok, The Lowest Of The Poor In Indonesia
Depok Deputy Mayor Imam Budi Hartono stated that in 2022 the poor people of Depok City will be in the fifth lowest position in Indonesia with a percentage of poor people of 2.53 percent.
"The city of Depok is under the cities of Sawahlunto, Balikpapan, West Bangka and South Tangerang," said Imam Budi Hartono, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 24.
Imam Budi said this achievement could be achieved thanks to a number of poverty reduction efforts made by the Depok City Government (Pemkot).
Among other things, the use of one poverty data through a Sitpas or Social Service Integrated System which was developed into a System One Data CODE MASAKINI ( Depok City of Integrated Poor People).
Imam Budi said the city of Depok was also integrating a target and regional-based poverty reduction program focusing on improving the Human Development Index (HDI).
Not only that, Depok City is also through a strategy to strengthen the Depok Sejahtera Card (KDS) program, which is integrated with 7 activities, which is also one of the factors in reducing poverty.
He said that Imam Budi also had programs such as City Food Assistance (BPK), assistance for the elderly and disabled were empowered, compensation for death and skills assistance. As well as job training for underprivileged residents.
"Hopefully, with these programs and activities, the poverty rate in Depok City can continue to be reduced, so that Depok, who is advanced, cultured and prosperous can be realized," he said.
