Quoted From The Bible When Pleidoi, Ferdy Sambo: I Am An Ordinary Man I Don't Want To Be Repensive
The defendant Ferdy Sambo admitted that he regretted all his actions in the premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J. He conveyed the regret while quoting the Bible. Ferdy Sambo wanted to repent.
"As an ordinary human being, I also do not escape mistakes and sins, may God forgive me, give me the opportunity to repent and improve myself," said Ferdy Sambo during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Tuesday, January 24.
In a memorandum of defense or plea, Ferdy Sambo quoted a number of verses contained in the Bible. He quoted 51 paragraph 13 and Wahyu 3 paragraph 19.
"It is contained in the book Deposit 51 paragraph 13: 'Don't throw me out of my way and don't take your holy spirit from me'," he said.
"Similarly, contained in Wahyu's book 3 paragraph 19: 'Whoever I love, I represent and beat him, therefore relax your love and repent.' And, the past is a valuable experience, today is a life of certainty, tomorrow is your hope," continued Ferdy Sambo.
In this case, Ferdy Sambo is referred to as the mastermind of the crime in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.
In addition, Ferdy Sambo is also said to have participated in shooting Brigadier J. The shot was directed at the back of the head.
The former Head of the Propam Division was also said to have deliberately ordered Richardtion alias Bharada E to secure the firearm (senpi) Brigadier J. The goal is to make the execution process run easily.
Meanwhile, the execution process for Brigadier J was carried out at the Ferdy Sambo official residence located at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta on July 8, 2022.
Ferdy Sambo's actions are deemed to have fulfilled the elements of Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code. Thus, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
