The Gorontalo Provincial Government Disbursed IDR 244 Million For The Maintenance Of The Nani Wartabone Museum
GORONTALO - The Gorontalo Provincial Government (Pemrov) has allocated Rp244,730,000 for the maintenance of the Nani Wartabone Museum House in Bube Baru Village, Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo.
Acting (Pj) Governor of Gorontalo Hamka Hendra Noer said the fee would later also be an effort from the Gotontalo Provincial Government to provide additional supporting facilities at the Nani Wartabone Museum House.
"We want in this place in the future there will be a mini studio as the venue for the screening of the struggling film which will always be screened during visits to this museum's house," he said in Gorontalo, Tuesday, January 24, as reported by Antara.
He explained that the Gotontalo Provincial Government allocated the amount of funds for the maintenance of the museum from the 2023 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget.
Bone Bolango Regent Hamim Pou said that the Nani Wartabone Museum House is a monument to the history and struggle of the people of Gorontalo which must continue to be cared for and guarded.
Kris Wartabone as the deputy heir of Nani Wartabone said that the family had proposed maintaining the Nani Wartabone Museum House to the government.
"This will be a spirit for the next generation to maintain and build Gorontalo," said Kris.
