Sandiaga: Must Wait 2045 Become An Advanced Country, If Accelerated Better
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno revealed three big ideas. Projected ideas for the Indonesian nation in the future.
First, Sandiaga assessed that Indonesia must present a fair economy for all people. He emphasized that the problem of living expenses is a separate economic burden that is being faced by the community.
"The cost of life is now very burdensome, especially our food and energy independence. How can mothers now (face) the price of rice start to rise, sometimes chilies or eggs and so on in certain seasons. Meanwhile, farmers are not prosperous," said Sandiaga Uno, Saturday, January 21.
Sandiaga Uno alluded to the second big idea, namely a solution for employment. He admitted that he was sad during the visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim who discussed labor issues.
"Why do millions of our people have to try their luck abroad, even though the opportunity is extraordinary here if we develop and create jobs through great business opportunities," explained Sandiaga Uno.
Sandiaga Uno sees that Indonesia wants to focus on favoring the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
"MSMEs can create 97 percent of the workforce for us," said the deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party's Board of Trustees.
While third, Sandiaga Uno's big idea is how the Indonesian government is clean. He views the issue as the main issue that needs to be refined in the future.
"Our narrative is good now and we must continue to improve and accelerate so that in the future our politics is truly politics that carries transparency, accountability, responsibility, and how someone who is chosen is truly a mandate," said Sandiaga Uno.
Furthermore, the former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta also saw the need for political improvements in the future due to the many conflicts of interest between entrepreneurs and rulers.
"Of course we will fix this in the future to ensure a clean government," he said.
Sandiaga also mentioned the need for development investment in other fields such as education and health. For him, going to Indonesia Gold in 2045 should be accelerated.
"We have to wait 2045 to become a developed country, if it can be accelerated, it's better," he concluded.
