Bareskrim Calls Creator Content So As Not To Create Content Model 'Ngemis Online'
The Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dirtipidsiber) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is trying to prevent the rise of "online epidemics" content on social media by providing education to a number of content creators.
"We summoned some content creators, provide education to them to stop content that is not useful and not good," said the Director of Cyber Crime (Dirtipidsiber) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Adi Vivid Agustadi Bactiar at Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, Thursday, January 19.
The one-star general said that his staff had moved to trace the rise of the online begging content. One of the content of a parent who took a bath while chills was successfully revealed by the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police.
"We have coordinated, coincidentally the location is at the NTB Regional Police," he said as quoted by Antara.
The NTB Regional Police investigators, he said, had checked the parents in Tik Tok's content. From the results of the examination, it turned out that the grandmother was a content creator.
"So the grandmother (parents) plays a role as if she is a victim, as if she is cold," he said.
As a follow-up to the disclosure, NTB Police Investigators summoned content creator owners to be given education so as not to create content that exploits a person's weaknesses.
"We will cooperate with Komnas Perempuan and Komnas for Child Protection to appeal to fellow content creators to stop creating such content, not good in the future is very bad," said Vivid.
Regarding whether the case is included in the element of a criminal act, according to Vivid, the case in NTB is not included in a criminal act, because the parents who took a bath are content creators. However, it can be a criminal act if there is an element of exploitation of someone to benefit from the difficulties of others.
"It is different if later we find that this grandmother is a victim, that she is forced, she is cold, until one of the grandmother's content cannot urinate. So we must urge the victim to report immediately," said Vivid.
He said people who feel they have been exploited by content creators to beg on social media can report to the patrol.id belonging to the Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri.
"People can report online (online)," said Vivid.
Previously, it was reported that the West Nusa Tenggara Police Cyber Sub-Directorate Officer traced the owner of the TikTok account @intan_komalasari92 with the content of "emak-emak bathing in mud" which is currently viral in cyberspace.
Confirmed separately, the Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Artanto said the search results of members of the cyber sub-directorate found the owner of the TikTok account domiciled in Setangor Village, Central Lombok Regency.
From the results of the examination at the Central Lombok Police, Artanto said that the owner of the account was a husband and wife couple with the initials SAH and IK.
"Then 3 people who have appeared on the live broadcast of the TikTok account with the content bathing in the mud have the initials LS (49), IR (54), and HRT (43)," said Artanto.
He said that the three people who appeared in the live broadcast on the account still had a family relationship with the account owner.
