JAKARTA - The public prosecutor (JPU) charged the defendant Richard totaling alias Bharada E for 12 years in prison in the premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J. Although, in terms of considerations to relieve Bharada E, the family of Brigadier J has forgiven.
"The defendant regretted his actions and the actions of the defendant have been forgiven by the victim's family," said the prosecutor during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, January 18.
In addition, in terms of mitigating, Bharada E has also collaborated with the Criminal Investigation Police investigators in uncovering the scenario of Ferdy Sambo. There is also a problem that Bharada E has never been convicted.
"The defendant has never been convicted, behaved politely and cooperatively at trial," said the prosecutor.
On the other hand, the prosecutor also had burdensome considerations. Bharada E is called the executor of the shooting Brigadier J.
"The defendant's actions have caused deep sorrow for the victim's family. As a result of the defendant's actions, there was widespread unrest in the community," said the prosecutor.
Bharada E was charged with shooting Brigadier J with a GUARD-17 firearm three to four times. The shooting was carried out at the official residence of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on July 8.
Then, before the shooting, Bharada E also participated in the planning. This is because he agreed with Ferdy Sambo's order to execute Brigadier J.
