Prosecutors Are Not Sure There Was Harassment To Putri Candrawati: Ferdy Sambo Cuek, Choose Main Badminton

JAKARTA - The public prosecutor (JPU) believes that there were no incidents of sexual harassment against Putri Candrawathi by Yosua alias Brigadier J in Magelang. Many irregularities were found during the trial process, one of which was Ferdy Sambo who was indifferent when he heard the news about the allegation.

The first oddity is that Putri Candrawathi still invites Brigadier J to isolate in Duren Tiga. In fact, her husband's aide is said to have abused her.

"The existence of irregularities or rape was actually invited to go again for self-isolation in the same place as the perpetrators of sexual violence," said the prosecutor during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, January 18.

In addition, the invitation to self-isolate showed that Putri Candrawathi was not traumatized or afraid as a victim of harassment by Brigadier J.

There are also other irregularities, namely Ferdy Sambo's indifferent attitude. Because, when he heard the news about the harassment of the former Head of the Propam Division, he did not take certain steps, such as allowing Putri Candrawati to go home with Brigadier J.

"In addition, where the husband of a victim of sexual violence or rape does not even mind and seems normal and indifferent, such as no sexual violence or rape against the defendant Putri Candrawathi, who is none other than her first wife and love," said the prosecutor.

"Because Ferdy Sambo's brother prevented or tried to keep his wife a victim of sexual violence or rape as referred to by the defendant Putri Candrawati," he continued.

In fact, Ferdy Sambo still intends to play badminton along with other Polri officials in Depok, West Java.

"This is in accordance with the testimony of witness Adzan Romer, witness Prayogi, witness Daden, witness Chuck Outranto who in the trial explained that Ferdy Sambo's brother before going to Duren Tiga 46's house had the intention to play badminton in Depok," said the prosecutor.
