Students Fall Pingsan When Trained Violence By Seniors

JAKARTA The orientation of violence among high school students at Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, has caught the attention of the public and even netizens. Because the activities held by senior schools or alumni against juniors are a form of violent traditions that have occurred since 2008. Not even a few have fallen unconscious as a result of this action.

Jamal, one of the residents around the activity location, on Jalan Haji Rohimin RT 09/03, Pesanggrahan, said that the violent acts that were held had made students faint.

"That's the first week, just not too much. This is a school, the head of a kicked person. The feeling of MOS (school Orientation Period) is not like this," said Jamal when met at the location, Tuesday, January 17.

Jamal said in the violent acts he saw on Saturday, January 7, that night, he saw the teenagers attacking each other using weapons around him to attack each other.

"We actually saw yesterday that we couldn't bear it. What kind of thing was there that was made of weapons with them, iron for mukul, wood, banana softeners," he said.

On the occasion, Jamal admitted that he could not do much regarding the incident. Although there were people who were injured, he said, the number of people in the group was too large.

"I was there on Saturday afternoon, just sit down. I don't look there, I can't bear it. If now we have big children, what will we do," he said.
