JAKARTA - A construction worker with the initials LN (30) was found dead tragically with a number of wounds all over his body. When found, the victim was in the basement elevator, Harmoni Exchange Mall, Hayam Wuruk Street, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Gambir Metro Police Chief Kompol Binsar Sianturi confirmed that the victim died in the elevator room. Police suspect that the victim fell as a result of a work accident.

"He is a construction worker who died in the elevator pit. Our provisional suspicion is that the victim fell from one of the floors," said Commissioner Binsar when contacted, Tuesday, January 17.

The victim's condition, he continued, was quite pathetic when he was found. The victim suffered injuries to the back of the head, broken parts of the arm's bone, and almost released the eye ball.

"From the information we got from the witness we examined that the victim was about to give permission to urinate. However, the victim did not return until he was found dead in the elevator hole," he said.

His party is currently still checking the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage around the scene.

"The victim is a construction worker who is cleaning a shop that has expired. Currently the victim is still at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM)," he said.
