Report Service Of The Chief Of Police, How Rejang Lebong Residents Information Crime
REJANG LEBONG - Rejang Lebong Police Chief, Bengkulu Police, AKBP Tonny Kurniawan asked residents of this area to take advantage of the Police Chief's Report service to report various crimes that occurred in their respective places.
"To the people of Rejang Lebong Regency, please report any problems related to criminal acts, both minor and severe. There is already a report from the Police Chief at 081276719996," said Tonny Kurniawan, quoted by Antara, Monday, January 16.
He explained that the Report of the Police Chief's service, which was launched in mid-2022, was active for 24 hours, and all incoming reports would be followed up by his staff.
At the Rejang Lebong Police Chief's Report service, he said, his party in addition to receiving reports of complaints about crimes, as well as requests for escort for vehicles hesitant to pass on the Curup-Lubuklinggau Cross Road, South Sumatra (Sumsel), especially at night.
The free vehicle escort service, apart from the Rejang Lebong Police officers, was also carried out by officers from the Sindang Kelingi Police, Padang Ulak Tanding Police (PUT), and the Rejang Lebong Police Precision Patrol Team.
Based on his side's records throughout 2022, criminal acts that occurred in 15 sub-districts in Rejang Lebong reached 427 cases or an increase of 113 cases, from 2021 as many as 314 cases.
Of the 427 crimes handled by the Rejang Lebong Police, according to him, 244 cases were successfully resolved or 57.14 percent. Meanwhile, what has not been completed has become homework to be resolved in the following year.
