The Number Of Unemployment In Indonesia Will Increase, PSSI Decision The Cause
JAKARTA - PSSI decided to stop the League 2 and League 3 competitions. This is based on the decision of the PSSI Executive Committee meeting, Thursday, January 12.
PSSI Secretary General, Yunus Nusi said, there were three factors behind this decision. They claim that the termination of League 2 and League 3 is a club request, recommendations for the Indonesian football transformation team, and Perpol No. 10 of 2022.
Of course, the termination of the League 2 and League 3 competitions has created a domino effect. However, the most affected are the people involved in the competition, including coaches and players.
The number of unemployed in Indonesia is believed to be due to the cessation of competition. Especially in an uncertain economic period, players are predicted to find it difficult to find a place to earn a living to support their families.
National football observer Rais Adnan assesses that the players are the party most disadvantaged by PSSI's decision. The reason is, the source of their livelihood has now been forcibly seized.
"Surely the player will be the one who is harmed. Where he said there are still arrears of salary," Rais said when contacted, Friday, January 13.
According to him, the fate of the players must be the concern of the club and PSSI. He hopes that there will be compensation given to the fighters in the field.
