Dress, Hugo! 14 Years Of Career In The Official Ended National Team
JAKARTA - Hugo Lloris has again graced the media. The senior goalkeeper decided to retire from the French national team after 14 years of his career at the international level.
The reason is that no one is able to keep him in the uniform of Les Bleus. He feels he has won everything.
"I decided to end my international career, with feelings of giving everything," Lloris said in an interview with L'Equipe.
He revealed that the 2022 World Cup was the reason why he remained in the Didier Deschamps squad even though he was already tired.
"What has really pushed me in the last few months is the World Cup. It's tiring and I see that I'm no longer mentally recovering as before. I finished (the World Cup) exhausted," Lloris said, as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 10.

Lloris said it was time for someone to replace him. Currently, Mike Maignan is one of the candidates.
So what about Lloris? "I need to have a little time for myself, my family and my children. You have to know how to take over," he replied.
The French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed Lloris' decision. They also thanked him through his social media uploads.
"Merci, Hugo (Thank you, Hugo)," wrote the photo of the goalkeeper's separation.
In his career with France, Lloris has made 145 appearances with the highest achievement of winning the 2018 World Cup. However, Loris failed to win the world for the second time after losing to Argentina in the 2022 World Cup final.
