It Was Revealed, Eminem Rejected IDR 124.7 Billion To Appear In The Qatar World Cup

JAKARTA - Eminem tenryata menolak jumlah uang yang sangat banyak untuk tampil di Piala Dunia FIFA 2022.

The quadrennial football tournament faced criticism when it began in November over the deaths of migrant workers at the construction of stadiums and the country's view of homosexuality, which is illegal in Qatar.

Speaking at Real 92.3's Big Boy's Neighborhood, 50 Cent said he and Eminem were approached by organizers for a duet in the tournament, allegedly US$9 million (approximately Rp140.3 billion) on the table.

"Because of the Super Bowl, I got a question about the World Cup and they have a budget of 9 million US dollars," 50 Cent said, citing NME.

"I will receive 1 million dollars (IDR 15.59 billion) and then another 8 dollars (IDR 124.7 billion) for him (Eminem)."

50 Cent was once a surprise guest at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show, which also featured Eminem, Dr. Dre, way to get rid of,▁blok Dogg, and Mary J. Blige.

After speaking with Eminem manager Paul Rosenberg, 50 Cent learned that Eminem was not interested in appearing at the Al Bayt Stadium.

"They are like, he won't," he continued. "If you appear in such a show once, maybe you will appear in the biggest live sporting event in the world."
