Menghitup Saat Mabok, Ferdinandus Dies Usai Acungkan Pisau Ke Briptu ER Yang Dibalangkan Dengan Todongan Senpi Hingga Merletus
JAKARTA - West Sumba Police, East Nusa Tenggara, Brigadier ER, was not on duty while shooting civilians in West Sumba.
"We are handling the legal process, and it is still ongoing," Head of West Sumba Police, AKBP Anak Agung Gde Anom Wirata, quoted from Antara, Monday, January 9.
This was conveyed in connection with the development of the shooting case of a police officer in West Sumba to his friend which resulted in the death of Saturday (7/1) last week.
The police chief said that the examination of Brigadier ER was ongoing and the progress would be conveyed after the examination was complete.
The police chief said that Brigadier ER himself, through the results of the interim examination, was known that he was not carrying out his duties while using his gun to shoot the victim named Ferdinandus.
The Resort Police also apologized for the negligence of the members, secured evidence and detained Brigadier ER in a special room.
The Resort Police has scheduled a team for the NTT Police Dokkes Bid Forensic Team and Bhayangkara Hotel Uly Kupang Hospital for an autopsy on the bodies.
Previously, it was reported that Brigadier ER accidentally shot a civilian named Ferdinandus Lango Bili.
The incident began when the victim and Brigadier ER and a number of other police officers were burning ducks while relaxing and drinking alcohol.
Allegedly because of being influenced by alcohol, the victim pointed a knife at Brigadier ER while challenging Brigadier ER to shoot him.
Brigadier ER, who happened to be carrying a firearm, pulled a handheld gun from the HS brand from the right waist. He only meant to joke and just bully the victim.
Brigadier ER then fired his short-barreled weapon at the victim's stomach. Unexpectedly, suddenly the weapon erupted and injured the victim's stomach.
The victim immediately fell and sat in his chair and was unconscious. Seeing the victim unconscious, Brigadier ER immediately and his other colleagues immediately took the victim to the hospital but could not be helped. Brigadier ER himself immediately surrendered to the Resort Police and confessed his actions.
