4 ETLE Statis Mulai Diberlakukan Di Kota Tangerang
TANGERANG - Tangerang Metro Police has started implementing an Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) ticketing system since Thursday, January 5.
Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said there were four static ETLEs at a point where the number of violations was considered high, one of which was on Jalan Daan Mogot, Tangerang City, Banten.
"The 4 static ETLEs are placed in high locations of traffic violations and accidents. To enforce traffic discipline," said Zain in his statement, Friday, January 6.
In addition, there is also 1 Portable ETLE that officers can move at any time and 1 mobile ETLE moves to locations that have high traffic vulnerability.
"It is hoped that in the future the existence of ETLE will really help us in making people orderly in traffic," he said.
The police chief advised the public, from now on and in the future, whether or not there are officers to remain orderly in traffic.
"This is for the safety of motorists and other road users," said Zain.
