The Wife Of Activist Wiji Thukul, Sipon Dies

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the family of Wiji Thukul. The wife of the poet, Siti Dyah Sujirah or Sipon passed away today, Thursday, January 5, 2023.

This news was confirmed by Wiji Thukul's younger brother, Wahyu Susilo. Through his personal Facebook account, he announced this news.

"Sugeng acted as Ms. Pon. Hopefully we will meet the Thukul kangmas," wrote Wahyu Susilo on the same day.

"Fajar Merah and Nganthi Wani are strong," he continued.

Launching various sources, Sipon died of a heart attack and was taken to a doctor for examination.

Sipon is the wife of the poet Wiji Thukul. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Fajar Merah and Nganthi Wani.

Wiji Thukul is known to have disappeared during the riots in 1998. The existence of the poet is still a mystery to this day.

His wife, until the end of her life, tried to seek justice and instructions for her husband. But unfortunately, before the answer was found, Sipon was declared dead.
