Next Week Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Delegated to DKI Attorney

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police will carry out the second phase of the drug case involving Inspector General Teddy Minahasa next week. The delegation is carried out after all case files are declared complete.

"Yes, we plan to hand it over next week", said the Director of Drug Research at Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Mukti Juharsa when confirmed, Thursday, January 5.

However, it did not specify the exact time of handover of Inspector General Teddy Minahasa and other suspects as well as evidence.

Commissioner Mukti said that the former West Sumatra Regional Police Chief would be handed over to the DKI Jakarta High Court.

"Delegation to the High Court of DKI Jakarta", said Commissioner Mukti.

Previously, the Jakarta High Court also stated that the case files for other suspects, such as AKBP Doddy Prawiranegara, Kompol Kasranto, and Linda, were also complete.

"The case files for TM and his friends are P21 as of today and have been handed over to investigators from the Metro Jaya Regional Police Directorate of Narcotics", said the Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasipenkum) of the DKI Prosecutor's Office, Ade Sofyansyah.

Inspector General Teddy Minahasa has been named a suspect in the alleged drug abuse case.

The determination of the suspect was based on a case title by several directorates at Metro Jaya Police and the National Police Headquarters which was carried out on Friday, October 14.

Inspector General Teddy Minahasa's involvement came to the fore after the Metro Jaya Regional Police Drug and Drug Administration arrested AKBP D and the woman with the initials L who mentioned the involvement of the Inspector General of Police TM as the West Sumatra Police Chief.

"TM's involvement as a controller of evidence is five kg of methamphetamine from W Sumatra and has resulted in 3.3 kg of methamphetamine being secured and 1.7 kg of methamphetamine that was sold by Brother BG, which we have secured, distributed in Kampung Bahari", said the Director of Narcotics at the Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Mukti Juharsa, Friday, October 14th.

Apart from Teddy, other members of the police have become suspects in this case, including Aipda AD (member of the West Jakarta Metro Police Satresnarkoba, Commissioner KS, (Kapolsek Kali Baru, Tanjung Priok Port Police), Aiptu J (member of the Tanjung Priok Port Police), and AKBP Doddy Prawira Negara (Kabagada Rolog W Sumatra, former Head of the Bukittinggi Police, West Sumatra Regional Police).

In this case, apart from the four policemen mentioned above, six suspects are civilians. One of them is a woman with the initials L or Linda.
