South Korean Punk Band, Rumkicks Holds 6th Tour In Indonesia
JAKARTA - South Korean punk unit Rumkicks will hold tours at several points in Indonesia this January.
The band fronted by Yewon Jeong (vocals, guitar), Choi Seeun (bass, vocals), and Minjeong (drums) will appear in six cities in the country.
Based on uploads on social media, Rumkicks will start their tour on Star Kemang, South Jakarta on January 6.
Then, continue to Vandal Gig & Bar, Bandung (January 7), Basecamp 666, Purwokerto (January 8), happenedie Down, Yogyakarta (January 10), Twice Bar, Bali (January 11), and Gimmie Shelter, Bali (January 12).
Rumkicks has been around since July 2019. They have appeared on the Lecherlion Fest and share the stage with punk legends, including Buzzcocks, Bad Religion, the Boys, Billy Brag, and Cock Sparrer.
Earlier this year, Rumkicks released the Proud of Madness, a tribute song to Mad Pride Seoul, a festival that began in 2019 by ANTICA.
The festival was created to raise awareness of mental health and eliminate the stigma of people experiencing neurodiverging.
The song features guest vocalists Christmas Kwon and SAAE, two members of the local punk band 18Fevers.
