23 Kiosks At Kuala Tungkal Market Jambi Ludes Burns, Police Cause Of Fire

JAMBI - A total of 23 stalls were eaten by the red rooster when the fire broke out at Ampera Market, Kuala Tungkal, West Tanjungjabung Regency (Tanjabbar), Jambi on Tuesday, January 2 in the morning

Head of the Tanjabbar Regency Fire Department, Iswardi, said the fire at Ampera Market was very fast. Its location, which is located on the outskirts of the estuary with strong winds, makes the water spread quickly.

"The incident started at 02.30 WIB which burned one of the kiosks which then spread and burned the other kiosks," said Iswardi, Tuesday, January 3, as reported by Antara.

Iswardi said, after finding reports, his party deployed five units of fire fighting fleets. A total of 60 firefighters were also deployed to extinguish it, assisted by the TNI and Polri.

In this fire there were no casualties. Material losses are predicted to reach hundreds of millions of rupiah. Currently, the police have installed a police line at Amprera Market. Police are investigating the cause of the fire that allegedly emerged from one of the stalls in the market.

The Kuala Tungkal area is 80 km from Jambi City. The location is prone to fires because the geographical location is packed with houses that stand on estuarine swamps.
