Pertamina Asks Pertamax Prices So IDR 12,800 Per Liter, Starting To Applicate At 14.00 WIB
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) announced that it will lower the price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) type Pertamax which will take effect at 14.00 WIB, Tuesday, January 3.
Pertamina lowered the price of Pertamax, which was previously priced at IDR 13,900 per liter to IDR 12,800.
"God willing, the price of Pertamax will decrease to Rp12,800," said SOE Minister Erick Thohir at the press conference on the price adjustment for JBU in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 3.
Present at the same invitation, Pertamina's President Director, Nicke Widyawati, said that this new price will only take effect at 14.00 local time.
"Starting at 2 pm, the price will apply to IDR 12,800 per liter," continued Nicke.
In addition to lowering the price of Pertamax, Pertamina will also make price adjustments to several non-pertamina subsidized fuel products such as Pertamax Turbo, which was previously priced at IDR 15,200, down to IDR 14,050.
Then the price of FUEL Dexlite which was previously sold for 18,300 per liter decreased to Rp16150 per liter and Pertamina Dex is now sold for Rp16,750 from the previous Rp18,800 per liter.
As for subsidized fuel such as Pertalite and diesel, Nicke emphasized, there is no tariff adjustment, because the current price is still below the economic price.
This General fuel oil (BBM) price adjustment was made in order to implement the Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) of ESDM No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as a change to Kepmen No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning Basic Price Formula in Calculation of Retail Selling Types of General Fuel Oil Types of Gasoline and Solar Oil which are channeled through Public Fuel Filling Stations.
