Hundreds Of Fire Victims In Tambora, West Jakarta, Get Psychosocial Support
JAKARTA - The DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has distributed community service equipment assistance to accelerate the recovery of victims of 40 houses on Jl Kalianyar 10, RT 04 and 05 RW 05, Kalianyar, Tambora, West Jakarta.
The fire incident occurred on Friday night, December 30. Hundreds of victims could not do much because their valuables and objects caught fire.
Head of DKI Jakarta BPBD, Isnawa Adji said various efforts were made to help the victims, both psychological conditions, by providing psychosocial support for 150 families and 450 people and physical.
"Therefore, to accelerate the physical recovery after this fire, we distribute assistance for community service equipment in the form of sacks, hoes, shovels and stalls," Isnawa said, quoted from Antara, Monday, January 2.
Furthermore, Isnawa also explained that previously various logistical assistance had also been distributed to fire victims, in the form of mineral water, ready-to-eat food, biscuits, blankets, mukena, sarongs, tarpaulins, mattresses, family packages, child / toddler needs packages, clothing packages, medical masks and hand sanitizers.
"We are also concerned about the fire that hit the people in Kalianyar. Hopefully it can help ease the burden on the victims," said Isnawa.
Along with the distribution of the aid, the DKI BPBD also conducted a review by checking the condition of the refugee tents and the available health posts to ensure good health services to survivors.
Coordination regarding the implementation of community service and psychosocial support service (LDP) activities for survivors who are in refugee camps is also carried out.
The fire incident allegedly occurred due to an electrical short circuit with an estimated loss of up to Rp. 3 billion.
