Heru Budi Publishes The Governor's Decree, All Children Who Die During A COVID-19 War Get Scholarships
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Heru Budi Hartono issued Governor's Decree (Kepgub) Number 1194 of 2022 regarding the provision of educational scholarships for children of health workers (nakes) in the capital city who died due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"To implement the provisions of Article 5 paragraph 4 of Governor Regulation Number 42 of 2020 concerning Awarding for Health Workers who died in handling COVID-19," reads Kepgub 1194 of 2022, a copy of which was obtained by the press in Jakarta, Monday, January 2.
In the gubernatorial attachment, as many as 52 health workers in Jakarta get scholarships for varying levels of education, ranging from Early Childhood Education (PAUD) to universities.
The amount of scholarships for PAUD level is Rp. 6 million per child per year, Elementary School (SD) and equivalent to Rp. 9 million. Then, SMP and equivalent to Rp. 12 million, SMA and equivalent to Rp. 15 million, SMK Rp. 17 million and universities Rp. 20 million per child per year.
The scholarship is allocated through the Budget Implementation Document of the DKI Jakarta Education Office for Fiscal Year 2022.
In detail, there are six children for PAUD, SD (15), SMP (4), SMA (9) and universities (18).
