Harley Davidson Driver Who Collises Dead In Menteng Becomes A Suspect, Powered 6 Years In Prison
The Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) named RMP (43) a Harley Davidson motorcycle rider as a suspect on Monday, January 2.
RMP, was named a suspect after going through a series of examinations at the Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Laka Office as a result of crashing into an elderly woman (elderly) until she finally died at the scene of the incident, in the Menteng area.
"RMP has become a suspect in an accident that killed a female pedestrian," said Head of Traffic Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sutiyono to VOI, Monday, January 2.
Previously, RMP had undergone treatment at the hospital for the abrasions he found after hitting a pedestrian and falling. The victim named Sugiyem (63) died instantly at the scene after being hit by a motorbike with a large capacity engine.
The victim was taken to the morgue of Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), then the victim's body was delivered to his hometown in Kunci Village, Sidareja District, Cilacap Regency.
After undergoing treatment at the hospital, RMP was detained in the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satlantas prison cell. RMP had undergone examination for several days. The results of the case title determine RMP as a suspect.
"For his actions, Harley Davidson rider was charged with Article 310 (4) of the LLAJ Law," said AKP Sutiyono.
The suspect RMP was charged with Article 310 (4) of the LLAJ Law because it resulted in the death of another person. RMP faces a maximum imprisonment of 6 years.
