Moonton has finally inaugurated the M4 World Championship, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) world tournament which will be held in Jakarta starting in January 2023.In this biggest MLBB party, the M4 World Championship was attended by the 16 best esports teams from across the region. They will compete in several phases to win a total prize of 800 thousand US dollars or around Rp12 billion.In addition to inaugurating the tournament, on December 8, Montoon held a draw for the match. The following are the complete schedule, format explanation, and draw results.Match ScheduleThe M4 World Championship match will consist of three phases, namely the Group Stage, Knockout Stage, and Grand Finals phases. The following is the schedule:Group Stage : 1 - 4 January 2023Knockout Stage : 7 - 14 January 2023Grand Finals : 15 January 2023Match FormatOf the 16 participants, they will be divided into 4 groups (A,B,C,D) which will later determine their position in the Knockouts round. In this group stage, no participants will fall.After competing, the 8 best teams in 1st and 2nd positions from each group will fill the upper bracket. On the other hand, the remaining 8 teams in 3-4 positions from each group will fill the lower brackets in the knockout round.In the Knockouts round, the team at the Upper Bracket will have 2 lives. Meanwhile, the team at Lower Bracket has only one chance, if they lose, they will be eliminated immediately.Grand Final, still the same as the previous year, will be determined in BO7 format.
