In An Argument With His Younger Brother, This Man Fell Into Cengkareng Drain River And Is Still Missing
JAKARTA - A man has fallen in Cengkareng Drain River and is still missing since Saturday, December 24 in the morning. Now, the man is still missing.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji said, at the beginning of the incident, the man with the initials R was involved in an argument with his younger brother at around 00.30 WIB.
The location of the fight was precisely on the edge of Cengkareng Drain around Kemiri Market, Basmol Street, North Kembangan Village, Kembangan District.
"At 00.30 WIB the victim and his sister fought on the bridge and were finally pushed and fell into the Cengkareng Drain river," Isnawa said in his statement, Saturday, December 24.
Residents who knew about the incident immediately reported to the authorities at 02.00 WIB. A joint team from the DKI BPBD, Jakarta SAR, TNI, Polri, Damkar, and AGD Health Service also searched.
Until this news was written, the victim had not been found. The team has been searching again since 09.45 WIB.
"The current activity is to continue the search for people whose conditions are endangering people on the 1st day," concluded Isnawa.
