JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo praised the construction of churches and temples at the Riau Islands Police which will be an example of religious tolerance for all regional police.

The National Police Chief stated this when he reviewed and inaugurated the house of worship of the Housing Church, Tri Tunggal Kudus and Adistana Samanasya Temple within the Riau Islands Police, Batam, Friday, December 23, as reported by Antara.

"Hopefully this can continue to be developed in other regencies or cities that the Riau Islands Police can be an example of religious harmony," said the National Police Chief.

Listyo Sigit Prabowo also hopes that the churches and temples will not only be for members of the National Police, but also the general public in order to mean religious harmony and tolerance in order to maintain stability, security stability, political stability, and stability of diversity issues.

In addition to the construction of two churches and temples, the National Police Chief also reviewed the construction of 365 private housing units for members of the National Police in the Riau Islands Police area.

The four-star general explained that the construction of a private house for members of the National Police in the Riau Islands Regional Police was a collaboration with several relevant agencies.

"Hopefully, the construction of houses for members can support and increase the motivation of members in providing services to better communities," he said.
