Song Hye Kyo Challenged To Be A Victim Of Bully Through The Glory Series
JAKARTA - Song Hye Kyo displays her new side in the series The Glory. He admitted that this project made him feel many new challenges that he had never found in other series.
Every emotional character I feel through this character. There are many scenes I have never felt before so I was surprised when I played the scene," Song Hye Kyo said at a press conference on December 20.
His character, Moon Dong Eun, is a victim of bullying during school. When he grew up, he was determined to take revenge on the perpetrators by meeting their children.
Moon Dong Eun is a woman with an injured soul. She is a character who is not protected by anyone, including her school, her parents, or the police," explained Song Hye Kyo.
"He had time to choose death but then he thought 'Why should I die?' From this moment, he planned revenge," he said.
Ahn Gil Ho as the director said that since reading the script, he thought Song Hye Kyo could play this role well.
"When I read the script, he (Moon Dong Eun - Song Hye Kyo) looks fragile but strong and there are many actors who can present this aspect," Ahn Gil Ho's story.
"But I thought about Song Hye Kyo and she appeared 120 percent. I don't think we should be enemies with this person," he said.
The Glory series will be released in two parts. The first eight episodes will air on December 30 while the second part will be released in March 2023.
