Rashford Brings Good Performance At The 2022 World Cup To MU
JAKARTA - Marcus Rashford managed to bring a slick performance from the 2022 World Cup to his club, Manchester United. This was proven through a beautiful goal against Burnley.
In the Premier League Cup continued, Thursday, December 22 in the morning, MU won 2-0 over Burnley at Old Trafford Stadium. The two winning goals were the executions of Christian Eriksen and Rashford.
In this match, Erik Ten Hag the coach deliberately fielded several players who had just appeared in the 2022 World Cup as a starting. Apart from Eriksen and Rashford, there are Casemiro, men's Malacia, and Bruno Fernandes.
The players who have just competed in Qatar are actually reliable in the scheme made by Ten Hag, including Rashford. The England international, who scored three goals at the World Cup, also scored a beautiful goal for MU after dribbled from the middle of the pitch.
His slick appearance then made Ten Hag not hesitate to praise Rashford, whose game continued to improve. He hopes the 25 player can continue to maintain his appearance even though before the World Cup was held, Rashford had had a difficult time at MU.
"I think he (Rashford) is at a very good level. His performances have improved rapidly from one match to another and I hope and hope he will continue to advance with his level of performance," Ten Hag was quoted as saying by ESPN on Thursday, December 22.
"I think he's tried a lot by running behind the defensive line and he scored a great goal with a drift and a good finish. I think he's in the best form after (Qatar) and I hope he can keep his focus and performance," explained the coach.
