Menkop Teten Optimistic 1 Million MSME Products Entered The LKPP E-Catalog, As Of December 21, Capai 916,392 Products
Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki noted that 916,392 MSME products had been included in the e-catalog of the Government Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) until December 21, 2022.
This achievement increased 70 percent compared to August 2022, while in terms of the number of SME providers was recorded at 42,405 or an increase of 62 percent from August 2022. "The average increase in SME products is less than 15,000 every two days with this assumption estimated to reach 98 percent of the target of 1 million products," said Teten in his official statement in Jakarta, Wednesday. The Minister of Law and Human Rights emphasized that the government continues to encourage MSME players to register their products in the electronic catalog (E-Catalog).
Kemenkop UKM also continues to make various efforts to increase the interest of MSME players in registering products in e-Catalog.
One of them is via WhatsApp (WA) and email blasts sent to more than 600 thousand UMK related to the entry procedure to e-catalog at LKPP.
In addition, also conducting socialization, coaching clinics to K/L and local governments throughout Indonesia, as well as organizing business matching at Smesco and the Jakarta Convention Center in April 2022. Furthermore, Teten said that the government's focus is now in addition to integrating the procurement of goods and services, so that it will continue to invite other MSMEs to join in bringing their products to the e-catalog. Previously, President Joko Widodo targeted that one million MSME products and cooperatives could enter the e-catalog until the end of 2022. This was done in order to grow the Indonesian economy.
