Flood-affected Victims In Natuna Increased To 3,332 People

NATUNA - Korban terdampak banjir di Natuna, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, bertambah 207 kepala keluarga (KK) atau 1,117 jiwa. Atas penambahan itu, total korban terdampak banjir menjadi 885 KK atau 3,332 jiwa.

The data emerged after re-data collection was carried out by the local Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).

"That's temporary data that we managed to collect as of December 17, 2022," said Head of BPBD Natuna Regency Raja Darmika, reported by Antara from Natuna, Sunday, December 18.

He conveyed that the figure was after the merger of affected victims from two sub-districts in the area.

Since December 13, 2022, floods have occurred in Sebadai Hulu Village, North Timur Bunguran and followed by East Bunguran District on December 14, as well as South Bunguran District and North Bunguran District.

"Meanwhile, the Kelarak area (North Flood) has an impact only on road access, while there have been no reports of casualties being affected, at this time we are still collecting data," said Raja Darmika.

He said data collection on the fifth day after the flood was more detailed, such as name, age, NIK, and gender carried out by each RT in the affected areas.

Sementara, ia juga mengatakan jumlah kerugian para korban yang terdampak banjir terus dikumpulkan oleh masing kecamatan dan diperkirakan mencapai Rp2 miliar lebih.
