Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture Calls December 26 The Christmas Joint Leave Holiday

Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy said that December 26 will be a holiday for Christmas 2022.

"Eid (December 26, ed)," said Muhadjir at the National Police Headquarters, Friday, December 16.

If that is true, it means annulling the provisions of the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number 375 of 2022, Number 1 of 2022, and Number 1 of 2022 concerning Amendments to the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, the Minister of PANRB Number 963 of 2021, Number 3 of 2021, Number 4 of 2021.

In that decision, it was stated that December 26, 2022, was not declared a joint Christmas leave.

The change, said Muhadjir, was based on several considerations. One of them is the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic which is starting to slow down.

However, at this time there has not been conveyed the mechanism that will be applied in the joint leave.

"Yes, level 1 is lower than 2," said Muhadjir.
